Abstract

ABSTRACT  The GKI Inri Pulende congregation is one of the congregations on the shores of Lake Sentani. The use of sago as a local commodity for the economic development of families and congregations is one of the problems currently being faced. Sago is the staple food of the Sentani people, which is processed into a variety of foods in order to maintain this local food for the welfare of the people. One of the resistances carried out to maintain the religious and economic cultural values ​​of this local commodity is training and mentoring in the use of sago for the Women's Fellowship of the GKI Inri Pulende Congregation. The production of meatball noodles from sago flour is the right choice to deal with various food traps that can weaken the existence of sago as a cultural identity for the Sentani people in the modernization era. Meatball noodles from sago flour as traditional food with high cultural taste is very popular among various groups of village people. Two targets to be achieved from this activity are: Production of meatball noodles from sago flour as a substitute for ordinary flour and Creating a sago meatball stall business to improve the economy of families and congregations. Women who were trained in the process of making sago flour into the basic ingredient for making noodles actively participated in the activity until the end. They have been able to make meatball noodles from sago flour and tilapia fish meatballs with basic ingredients from sago flour.  Keywords: Congregational economy; Making meatball noodles; Sago flour; Training   ABSTRAK Jemaat GKI Inri Pulende merupakan salah satu jemaat yang berada di pesisir danau Sentani. Pemanfaatan sagu sebagai komoditas lokal bagi pengembangan ekonomi keluarga dan jemaat merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi saat ini. Sagu menjadi makanan pokok masyarakat Sentani, yang diolah menjadi aneka ragam pangan guna mempertahankan pangan lokal ini demi kesejahteraan masyarakat.   Salah satu resistensi yang dilakukan untuk mempertahankan nilai kultur religi dan ekonomi dari komuditas local ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan sagu kepada Persekutuan Wanita Jemaat GKI Inri Pulende. Produksi mie bakso dari tepung sagu, menjadi pilihan yang tepat untuk menghadapi berbagai jebakan-jebakan pangan yang dapat memperlemah eksistensi sagu sebagai identitas kultur orang Sentani di era modernisasi. Mie bakso dari tepung sagu sebagai pangan tradisional yang bercita rasa budaya tinggi sangat digemari oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat kampung. Ada dua target yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah: a. Produksi mie bakso dari tepung sagu penganti tepung biasa, b. Membuat usaha warung bakso sagu untuk meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga dan jemaat. Ibu-Ibu yang dilatih proses pembuatan tepung sagu menjadi bahan dasar pembuatan mie aktif mengikuti sampai dengan akhir dari kegiatan. Mereka sudah dapat membuat mie bakso dari tepung sagu dan bakso ikan mujair dengan bahan dasar tepung sagu. Kata Kunci: Ekonomi jemaat; Pelatihan; Pembuatan mie bakso; Tepung sagu

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Turtles are reptiles that spend most of their lives in marine waters and will return to land to release their eggs at the location where they were hatched. However, changes in land use that cause damage to coastal habitats, catching turtles on land and taking their eggs as well as the threat of predators can cause a decrease in turtle populations. One effort to overcome this is through hatchling breeding activities as was done in Meinyumfoka Village, Manokwari Regency. The objective of the activity is to support community-based conservation through the provision of supporting facilities and community awareness. This activity begins with a site survey, observation and assistance with needs in the captive area, analysis of material needs and costs, organizational activities, and realization of a work plan. This activity was carried out in November-December 2021 in Meinyumfoka Village. The results achieved were the availability of one hatchling hatchery facility measuring 300 cm x 170 cm x 60 cm, three posters for turtle conservation socialization media, and one tourist gazebo. The addition of facilities to the turtle hatchery ecotourism area is expected to bring economic benefits to the surrounding community and also provide benefits for turtle conservation.  Keywords: Facilities; Hatchery; Meinyumfoka; Tourism; Turtle   ABSTRAK Penyu merupakan reptil yang menghabiskan sebagian besar hidupnya di perairan laut dan akan kembali ke daratan untuk melepaskan telur di lokasi dimana pernah ditetaskan. Namun, pergeseran fungsi lahan yang menyebabkan kerusakan habitat pantai, penangkapan penyu di darat dan pengambilan telur serta ancaman predator dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan populasi penyu. Salah satu upaya mengatasi hal ini adalah melalui aktivitas penangkaran tukik sebagaimana yang dilakukan di Kampung Meinyumfoka Kabupaten Manokwari. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu mendukung konservasi penyu berbasis masyarakat melalui penyediaan sarana pendukung dan penyadaran masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan survey lokasi, observasi dan identifikasi kebutuhan di area penangkaran, analisis kebutuhan bahan dan biaya, organisasi kegiatan, dan realisasi rencana kerja. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November-Desember 2021 di Kampung Meinyumfoka. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu tersedianya fasilitas bak penangkaran tukik berukuran 300 cm x 170 cm x 60 cm berjumlah satu buah, media sosialisasi konservasi penyu berupa poster sebanyak tiga buah, dan pondok wisata/gazebo sebanyak satu buah.  Penambahan fasilitas pada kawasan ekowisata penangkaran penyu ini diharapkan dapat mendatangkan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar dan juga memberikan manfaat bagi konservasi penyu. Abstract

ABSTRACT  Sigim and Sinaytousi Village communities are indigenous Papuans who live in buffer zones adjacent to Arfak Mountains Nature Reserve (CAPA). People with low of education, especially the economy, encourage community members close to the CAPA area to exploit forests to obtain animal food through poaching. Efforts to solve the problem using participative sociocultural approaches with transfer methods of science and technology, in the form of training and assistance in the production and processing of rabbit as an alternative animal protein. (2) Group partners have been able to implement a good rabbit breeding system through increased management and population capability through natural breeding systems, (3) nugget products rabbit meat has been accepted by the villagers. The activity is expected to be able to socialize the group's partners to the village area around the buffer area of arfak mountain nature reserve.  Keywords: Meat; Nuggets; Protein; Rabbit   ABSTRAK Masyarakat Kampung Sigim dan Sinaytousi merupakan suku asli Papua yang mendiami daerah penyangga yang berbatasan langsung dengan kawasan Cagar Alam Pegunungan Arfak (CAPA). Masyarakat dengan tingkat pendidikan yang rendah terutama ekonomi sehingga mendorong anggota masyarakat yang berdekatan dengan areal CAPA untuk mengeksploitasi hutan untuk mendapatkan pangan hewani melalui perburuan liar. Upaya pemecahan masalah tersebut menggunakan pendekatan sosiokultural partisipatif dengan metode transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam produksi dan pengolahan hasil ternak kelinci sebagai alternatif protein hewani. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan tersebut diantaranya adalah (1) Mitra kelompok telah mampu memproduksi nugget daging kelinci secara mandiri (2) Mitra kelompok telah mampu menerapkan sistim beternak kelinci yang baik melaui peningkatan kemampuan manajemen dan populasi melalui sistim perkawinan alami, (3) Produk nugget daging kelinci telah diterima oleh masyarakat kampung. Kegiatan diharapkan mampu disosialisasikan mitra kelompok ke daerah kampung sekitar kawasan penyangga cagar alam pegunungan arfak. Kata kunci: Daging; Kelinci; Nugget; Protein

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Development of small scale of sago processing based on community in West Papua Province has a bright prospect because it is supported by abundant sago palm resources as row material. Teluk Wondama is one of the regency in West Papua Province which has high potential of sago, unfortunately the potency have not utilized optimally. The ovjective of this program was to develop home industry sago processing in Distric Rasiei, Teluk Wondama Regency by application of mechanical sago processing machines. The methods used were introducing mechanical sago processing equipment followed by partner training and assistance to operate the machines for sago starch production. The results had been achieved from this program were (1) partner have new asset i.e. a set of sago processing equipment which consists of sago rasping machine variant-01 and stirrer rotary blade type of sago starch extraction machine, as well as supporting components such as starch sedimentation tank and water pump (2) partner have already changed their method in sago processing, from traditional method to mechanical one, (3) partner were able to operate the machine easily without any difficulties. During training and assistance, the machine was work properly and there was no technical constrains (4) fresh sago starch production capacity increase from 352 kg/week to 2.112 kg/week. Keywords: Home industry; Sago processing machine; Sago rasping machine; Teluk wondama   ABSTRAK Papua Barat memiliki prospek yang cerah karena didukung bahan baku yang melimpah berupa sumberdaya sagu. Teluk Wondama merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Papua barat dengan potensi sagu yang tinggi namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk mengembangkan pengolahan sagu skala industri rumah tangga melalui penerapan mesin pengolahan mekanis di Distrik Rasiei, Kabupaten Teluk Wondama. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengintroduksi peralatan pengolahan sagu mekanis diikuti dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan mitra dalam pengoperasian mesin untuk produksi sagu. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra memiliki asset baru berupa 1 paket mesin pengolahan sagu yang terdiri dari mesin parut sagu tipe silinder variant-01 dan mesin ekstraksi pati sagu tipe stirrer rotary blade beserta bagian pendukung berupa bak pengendapan pati dan pompa air, (2) mitra telah merubah metode pengolahan sagu dari cara tradisional ke mekanis, (3) mitra telah terampil mengoperasikan mesin-mesin pengolahan yang diintroduksi dan selama kegiatan berlangsung mesin berfungsi dengan baik tanpa kendala teknis, (4) kapasitas produksi pati sagu meningkat dari 352 kg/minggu menjadi 2.112 kg/minggu. Abstract

ABSTRACT  The implementation of the empowerment program was carried out in Inya village, North Manokwari District, Manokwari Regency. The expected output is the community's understanding of the potential possessed in the village which has an impact on changing behavior and improving community health and education. In implementing it, the team together with the community looked at the village strategic plan and budget that could be used for synergy between IDM and RPJMkam. There are several activities carried out in the fields of education, health and socio-culture as well as developing the entrepreneurial spirit of the community. The people of Inya Village were very enthusiastic about participating in the program, both in theory and in field practice. The development of village PUSTU is one of the efforts to improve the health status of the community. Beach processing efforts for tourist areas are part of utilizing village potential to support the welfare of the village community.  Keywords: Community welfare; Inya village; Social services   ABSTRAK Pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan dilaksanakan di Kampung Inya, Distrik Manokwari Utara, Kabupaten Manokwari. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah terjadinya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap potensi yang dimiliki di kampung yang berdampak pada perubahan perilaku dan peningkatan kesehatan dan pendidikan masyarakat. Dalam pelaksaanannya tim bersama masyarakat bersama-sama melihat renstra dan anggaran kampung yang dapat digunakan untuk sinergi antara IDM dan RPJMkam. Ada beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan baik dibidang Pendidikan, kesehatan dan sosial budaya serta mengembangkan jiwa wirausaha masyarakat. Masyarakat kampung Inya sangat antusias mengikuti program baik teori maupun praktek lapangan. Pembangunan PUSTU kampung merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan status kesehatan masyarakat. Upaya pengolahan pantai untuk kawasan wisata adalah bagian dari memanfaatkan potensi kampung untuk pendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat  kampung. Abstract

ABSTRACT  This community service activity was carried out to provide counseling, mentoring and training in making educational videos to the community in Tawanganom Village, Magetan District, Magetan Regency. This was done because TPS 3R "Uwuh Wiguna" experienced obstacles, namely waste that was not optimally absorbed by the TPS because not all residents had become TPS members due to lack of education about waste management. besides that there is still a lack of public awareness that waste can be recycled and can be used as compost. Video collection and making activities are carried out from the start of waste collection until the waste becomes compost that is ready for use by the surrounding community. It is hoped that the counseling, mentoring and training can educate the people of Tawanganom Village so that waste is optimally utilized.  Keywords: Assistance; Counseling; Education; Waste   ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan penyuluhan, pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan video edukasi kepada masyarakat di Desa Tawanganom, Kecamatan Magetan, Kabupaten Magetan. Hal ini dilakukan karena TPS (Tempat Pengolahan Sampah) 3R “Uwuh Wiguna” tersebut mengalami kendala yakni sampah yang belum optimal dapat terserap oleh TPS tersebut karena belum semua warga menjadi anggota TPS yang disebabkan kurangnya edukasi mengenai pengolahan sampah. selain itu masih kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat bahwa sampah dapat didaur ulang dan dapat dijadikan pupuk kompos. Kegiatan pengambilan dan pembuatan video dilaksanakan dari mulai pengambilan sampah sampai sampah menjadi pupuk kompos yang siap digunakan masyarakat sekitar. Diharapkan dengan adanya penyuluhan, pendampingan dan pelatihan dapat mengedukasi masyarakat Desa Tawanganom sehingga sampah dimanfaatkan secara optimal.
